What We Collect

When you sign up, we store your name, email address, and the profile details you choose to add (photo, city, bio). When you post, comment, or RSVP, we store that content. When you pay the $1 membership fee, our payment provider (Base44 Payments, powered by Wix) confirms your payment status to us; your card details are handled entirely by the payment provider and never stored by ClapBack.

How We Use It

Your information is used to run the platform: showing your posts and comments, sending you important notifications (like new boycotts in your area), confirming your membership, and keeping the community safe from abuse.

What Is Public

Posts, comments, boycott events, success stories, and the community members directory are visible to other members. Your full name (or chosen display name) and the profile details you add appear with your activity. Your email address is never shown to other members.

What We Never Do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing. We do not use your data to advertise to you.

Emails You May Receive

As a member you may receive essential notifications, such as alerts when a new boycott is organized. You can ask the ClapBack team to adjust or stop these at any time via the Feedback page.

Cookies & Sign-In

We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and the app working. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

Your Choices

You can edit your profile details at any time from the Profile page. You can request deletion of your account and posts at any time — deleting your account from the Profile page removes your account and your posts permanently.

Children

ClapBack is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
